The Bolron Wanderers link with the Swansea City star was first suggested by the same paper last week when they reported that West Brom were also in for Ferrie.
The names of Middlesbrough and Portsmouth were also added to the story but none of them have confirmed their interest in the player who as the subject of Derby interest in the summer.
But their football gossip column today said “Bolton boss Gary Megson is ready to make a ยฃ2million-plus move for Swansea playmaker Ferrie Bodde.
“Megson has put the highly-rated midfielder at the top of his wish list, despite making only 14 appearances in the Championship.
“But Megson and his scouts believe the 26-year-old Dutchman – who has five goals this term – is ready for the Premier League.
“Swansea, who signed Bodde from Den Haag last year, turned down big bids from Derby County in the summer, but could be forced to sell if Bolton’s offer is high enough”
