Neil Taylor believes that the Swans can get a result against Arsenal as they prepare to welcome the Gunners to the Liberty

Arsenal are the latest side to try and break down a Liberty fortress that has seen just Manchester United come so far this season and depart with maximum points.

Last time out it was Arsenal’s North London rivals that were denied victory at the Liberty and now Taylor believes the Swans need to turn some of their excellent form into victories over the big four.

He told the Western Mail “It’s about time we won a game against one of the top teams

“We’re full of confidence and we’ll see how it goes.

“I don’t see why we can’t get a result.

“When we played them at the Emirates we definitely should have got a result against them.

“It was a freak goal we lost to on the day but we can give them a tough game if we play as well as we can do at home.

“Only Manchester United have come here and won this season and even they had a tough afternoon.”

Ironically, Taylor was linked with a move to Arsenal yesterday but he said “From what I’ve read, speculation is all it is

“I haven’t seen anything else, so it’s just one of them where I get on with my football.

“I’m enjoying my football here and I think it’s going great.

“Every player should be getting watched at the moment because we’re a young outfit and we’re doing really well.

“We play some exciting stuff and a lot of people are talking about us, which we want to just keep doing.

“We’re a hard-working bunch and, as long as we stay together and keep going, we’ll be successful as a team.

“Gylfi looks a really good player. You don’t move for £7m if you’re a bad player.

“He looks like he’s got a good touch and he can play in the hole, so he should fit in really well into our team.

“It should keep players on their toes. No player’s place in the Premier League is secure, so we have to work as hard as we can for the gaffer and make it impossible for him not to pick us.

“Competition for places is only good.”
