Rodgers will also be a guest of the channel tomorrow when the Swans entertain Watford in the Monday Night football clash, a game that we simply have to win having slipped back into the bottom three of the Premier League this weekend.
Rodgers managed the Swans between 2010 and 2012, leading us to the Premier League in 2011 before departing for Liverpool one year later. He was relieved of his duties as Liverpool manager earlier this season and whilst he has been heavily linked with a return to the Swans he has shown little sign of making the move back to South Wales just at the moment.
Speaking on Goals on Sunday this morning he was asked if he could see himself going back “I said when I left I could see myself going back at some stage in my career.
“It is an incredible club but it needs to just be about the timing. It is a great city and a great club and it has moved on since I left.
“Garry was unfortunate to lose his job this year, it just came out of the blue. There is nobody that knows the club better than Alan Curtis, he is a great man and the players will be very supportive but I think they know they have a fight on which is a shame.
“The board are great men and they have always made the right decisions.”
