Phil SumblerBoth the Swans and Nottingham Forest have been linked with a move for 30 year old defender Mathieu Peybernes according to reports in Spain.
According to a report in El Periodico de Aragon Real Zaragoza lead the way for the players signature after he spent time on loan with them in the Spanish Second Division, making 18 league appearances.
The report goes onto suggest that the Swans have already tried to sign the player before with a ยฃ2m bid and that there is interest from both Nottingham Forest and clubs in France but the report does tend to suggest that Zaragoza will end up being the favoured destination.
