"I was pleased. It was a difficult challenge and Walsall are well organised. All credit to them, we restricted them to little and could have won it earlier than we did.
"Their goalkeeper had a good game but we always looked in control. Nobody is getting carried away and we will keep our feet on the ground."
And on Ferrie Bodde seemingly overcoming a game ending injury to score the winner: "It showed the determination of the player. The easiest thing for him was to go off. He had three studs in his knee.
"I did fear the worst. The first thing he did after treatment was to score with a fantastic strike."

"We had a go but it wasn't to be. We can take some positives and they are a strong side. I was a bit disappointed with how we played in the final third.
"I just felt we weren't brave enough with the ball at times. We didn't get at them enough, Swansea are a good side but the last time a side beat them was Havant & Waterlooville.
"They had a go at them but we didn't do that as much as we liked.
"We don't want to drop out of the top six contention and will keep going, we have a bit of a break now so it's important we don't slip too far down the league.
"At least it gives us the chance to get some of our injured players back fit and that will be crucial for the latter end of the season. We could do with recharging our batteries."
