All three players have signed one year deals to be part of the Swansea squad that will take on the Championship next season although I guess it is hard to say how much part all three will play.
Between them last season they made almost 90 appearances and that was enough for all three to trigger the appearance clause that automatically offered them a new deal. And whilst that new deal is not a given in terms of it being signed none have hesitated long over signing the contracts on offer and guaranteeing their future for the next twelve months as a minimum.
And Roberto believes that it provides a solid foundation to his Championship squad as he continues the completion of new deals with many of his squad who are out of contract this summer.
"All three of them have triggered automatic one-year extensions," Martinez told the Evening Post, "and all three of the deals are sorted.
"Dennis started more than 45 games last season, while Kevin started 23 and Kris was involved in 21.
"Maybe Kevin and Kris would have liked to have played more, but they still played a huge part in a very successful campaign.
"I have always said that football makes the decisions, not me, and Kevin and Kris have played their part in setting the standards for us on a daily basis.
"To be successful regularly, you need those foundations in the dressing room."
Meanwhile, BBC Sport report that the deals for Ashley Williams and Guillem Bauza are nearing completion "Negotiations are well down the line and we need to finalise a few things with Stockport and see where we are after that," said Martinez.
"Bussy is just a matter of finalising a few details," added Martinez.
"He has made it very clear he wants to play his football with Swansea City and we've seen him developing over the last 10 months in a fantastic way.
"He is a legend already in our history by scoring those two fantastic goals against Gillingham and he's one we are looking for a long future with Swansea City."
