Romo who initially wanted to leave when Hollins was still here has not figured in the games under Addison so far and has become disillusioned with his lack of first team opportunity. However, from a personal view, when I have seen him this season he has not performed and this is a higher indication on why other people are keeping him out of the line-up.
Speaking to the club’s official site, Addison said ” He is a young man, who wants to be playing regular football, and feels that he has a better chance of that away from here.In the meantime, he is still part of the squad, and I will continue to use him when neccesary, as I did on Saturday, where he did well coming off the bench. If he can find himself a new club, we will not stand in his way, and he will be able to leave on a free transfer.”
Romo signed for Swansea on October 13 last year and made an immediate impact the following day as Swansea beat Stoke 2-1. Although it was Savarese that stole the headlines, Romo was awarded man of the match for his passing ability and vision which appeared to be an asset to us in the 2nd division.
However, as the side’s form dropped so did that of Romo and his frustration has now led to him wanting away from Swansea City. His details have been circulated to all league clubs although his agent is looking for a club back home in France for David.
