Swansea City are said to be working on a potential short term deal for Norwich City left back / left winger Przemysลaw Pลacheta as they look to try and strengthen their squad ahead of tonight’s transfer deadline.
Placheta is entering the final six months of his Canaries contract and has previously been linked with a return to Poland with Slask Wroclaw, his former club, and Legia Warsaw.
The winger has struggled for game time after a lengthy injury lay-off, with David Wagner deploying him largely as a left-back this term.
There are currently no indications that talks over a new deal at Carrow Road are ongoing, with City in need of altering the squad. He spent part of his spell in Norfolk on loan at Birmingham.
The Swans are also looking to move on both Mykola Kuharevich and Kristian Pedersen in this window with both available for loan if there is any interest – departures for both would be another blow to the summer transfer activity given that both only arrived in the summer window.
Yesterday’s links with Tochi Chukwuani seem unlikely to go anywhere though and could see the Swans turn their attention elsewhere if they decide a midfielder is a priority in this window.
