• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

The tv I have looked at for Christmas Day and Boxing Day is totally abysmal. Is is just an age thing? No bloody way am I watching the chase on ITV, celebrity special, followed by Downton Abbey, or bbc call the midwife, gavin and Stacey, Eastenders, Mrs brown boys..

Ha ha it’s absolutely horrendous. Why do we have to pay a licence fee, for this joke of so called entertainment.

Not a great watcher of tv to be honest, can't concentrate on anything for more than 20 minutes unless it's football/cricket/rugby...
I’m much the same these days I’m usually asleep within half an hour if it’s not sport. I do enjoy G and S though.

Maybe that’s not a bad shout, I’m halfway through Day of The Jackal, but I guess Christmas Day, for some reason it seems inappropriate to watch it.
You’re the second person who has mentioned Day of The Jackal to me recently. Any shape on it? What channel / Netflix etc is it on?

It’s not to bad, first episode was a bit slow, but it picked up nicely thereafter. I’m watching on a Now tv subscription, I believe it’s sky Atlantic the channel.
