• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

Probably the only one on here but I’m genuinely excited to see how we move forward after the departure of Grimes.

Maybe just maybe this is the chance to change things in terms of how we play..let’s wait and see is it.
Lets wait and see what happens between now and when the transfer window slams shut, an already paper thin squad is about to get thinner, but, a lot can change in the next few days...

I'm not particularly bothered about him going, but now the news about the Swedish boy and the Rizla thickness of our squad - worrying if no other plans in place.

I never thought that Grimes' departure would leave me anything less than ecstatic, but he it, at least, a body. Massive amounts depend on the kind of business we can do before the end of the window.

I'd say we need two midfielders. If that's two loanees with Melkor loaned back until the Summer then I can live with that, but we can't rely on Allen to be fit.

He's more than just one body too in reality. He's a body that plays literally every minute. Never needs to be rested or replaced and never injured.

I appreciate we can all argue as to why this is the case but we'd be hard pressed to find someone like that again.

Bringing JA back in hindsight, has to be one of our worst decisions. Sicknote doesn’t even cover it. What a waste of precious resources.

That's because he walked around the centre of the pitch for 90 minutes.
