• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

Stevie G? Would he get respect like Lampard has at Cov?

I don’t want anyone appointed on the basis of success in their playing career.

Rooney, no way
Gerrard, no way (not that he won that much anyway)
And anyone else of this ilk.

It’s time for the experienced head, someone to steady a ship that’s rocking badly. I’ll sacrifice all of this fancy statistical passing and possession data for someone who gets the team playing as a coherent eleven.

Right, let’s stop all this boll..ks about some fancy Dan from Xanadu or wherever, let’s get someone in who knows his way around the block.

Im prepared to lump on for Phil Sumbler this time
How many times can one man be overlooked for the same job?
Surely it has to change this time

He would be an improvement at the very least
Then again big Phil from Neighbours would have been an improvement too

I would rather see Cameron Toshack brought in from the managerial wilderness than give a job to the likes of Gerard or Rooney

I'll do it for £50 a week. I'll pick players in their preferred positions and tell them to go out and pass it to each other in a forward direction, smile and enjoy playing, and tell the c***s to just shoot.
