I know I heard it correctly, I wouldn’t have posted it otherwise. Go to LBC radio, listen again at a few minutes before I posted it on here. They were interviewing some chap, the presenter put this rumour to him, which he said he’s seen reported in western media but hasn’t had it first hand from Musk, or something very close to that.
Goes to show, you can’t believe all you hear or read.
What's correct is that Elon Musk owns the Starlink satellites and Ukraine uses them for communications. And unproven rumours like this about Ukraine being shut out of the system have been around for a couple of years. It's a rumour from someone who heard a rumour from someone who heard a rumour.
Yes, that’s one of the articles I read, and they all state US officials are threatening to shut starlink down, not Musk himself. Which I think is an important point.
