Anyone else think Ginnelly leaving the club will be announced soon?

With Allen and Naughton Gone, it will start of many announcements from the club.

1. Pederson
2. McLaughlin
3. Darling
4. Christie
5. Hannes
6. LOB

Then Players Sold (Prediction) at Later Date

1. Yates
2. Mykola
3. TJoe
4. Fisher

1 year left with us. If he stays then it has to be with intention of us keeping as it makes no sense to have him with us. As sell now.
He did pretty well up north by all accounts, so this is our chance to hopefully recoup what we paid for him.

I think the list of players we'd like to sell is probably pretty lengthy, but you have to find clubs willing to buy them. Bianchini for example, I believe he cost a few quid last summer and so is presumably also on decent wages, so what's the level at which we would sell him? It's not as if his record this season is going to have clubs lining up for him.

As for Pederson, I hope the club don't make any kind of announcement, other than mentioning his name in a list of players released when their contracts ended, he may as well not have been here anyway.

I'll place bets on Sunday we get a list of those leaving, and Pederson will be one of many. 😂😂. Bianchini is difficult one. Not being given enough opportunities to show what he has. Usually a sub with last minute energy.

Kristian Pedersen, my word what a stinker of a signing. The stats around this should be pinned to the walls of every club office, as a reminder of how not to do it.
To be fair, he's been injured most of the time, which couldn't have been predicted. But he was certainly never a congruent signing. I can't see us signing journeymen Championship players in future.

Think Ginnelly has another year on his contract. Can’t see anyone else coming in for him, so I guess we’re stuck with him and his glass legs unless he retires due to injury.

Who is Ginelly? Less appearances than Liam Walsh....
A bit harsh that on Ginnelly I feel
It wasn't as if we signed an injury prone player with a long history of time spent on the treatment table

He joined us late in the summer and needed a few weeks to get up to speed. He then scored that 40 yard screamer in the cup and the game after that was tearing Sheff Wed to pieces, got absolutely no protection from the ref as they kicked lumps out of him and eventually he went off with an achilles tendon rupture.

Notoriously difficult injury that one is to fully recover from

Genuinely the idea that we had signed a crocked injury prone player is one that needs to be debunked. This is his stats for the two seasons prior to joining us:

In 2021/22 he made 38 appearances totalling 1982 minutes (an average of 52 mins per game)
In 2022/23 he made 41 appearances totalling 2763 minutes (an average of 67 mins per game)

Here is his total career injury history:

Andy Fisher's contract is a curse.

Impossible to get rid of him, impossible to risk putting him on the pitch. Doomed to sit on the bleachers earning silly money.
