Beautiful. I’m so sorry for your pain and the hole left by BLAZE’s passing. The poor sod, that’s no age. Life’s a bitch, but if it wasn’t for that life he wouldn’t have been able to make such an impression on those who knew him.Well that was a tough, emotional, beautiful afternoon for a beautiful man.
A great turn out and lots of tears as you’d expect for such a special person.
Kev Johns officiated and he was outstanding and did it to perfection.
Fair play to Bill driving down from Carlisle for the service too.
Love you James.![]()
So bloody true.As is often the case, sad occasions like this allow for names/people from the past to meet up and share memories. It is exceptionally touching to see so many previous usernames back on here to pay their own tributes.
Don't be strangers guys, life really is too short.
One of James' old school friends was at the funeral and they'd recently reconnected after 20 years. His partner works for iron maiden, advertising department possibly. He said to me that when the new tour was announced a week or two ago, his first thoughts were "we could have had VIP access, James would've loved it"James would definitely have gone to this,I’ve never been a huge Maiden fan but I might have gone to this with him.
I absolutely love Knebworth I’ve been there three times. View attachment 6769
