Suggestion has been for a while that they’ll go without a spinner. What’s people’s thoughts? Always seems a gamble to me.

Unfortunately we haven't got a decent spinner, all our strength is in our pace attack.
My worry is that Mark Wood breaks down early & Stokes over bowls himself.

Don’t you have a dog?

When I was a kid, my dog was so clever he could take the wrappers off the tree chocolates before he ate them and left them tidily under the tree. Cracking dog.

Our previous dog could do that but our current pair of soppy spaniels don't bother.
A few years ago they got into 2 of those Cadbury selection stockings we'd bought for the grandkids, I was picking up dog cr@p for a couple of days with bits of foil wrapper in it!

Cheers, youngest went into respite for a few days yesterday so we popped out for tea at Afan Tavern good food and prices.

Guess that’s another reason to go with the 5 seamers. Carse & Atkinson can bowl long spells if needed and they can use Wood & Archer in 4/5 over bursts.

Draw at Adelaide which is generally the best batting strip down under. Rain at Sydney cos there’s always some rain at Sydney.
