Seemed very down to earth and of course spoke how a football game can grab you
He occasionally writes on football, mostly Wales, for The Guardian. He’s a very talented fella and a huge Swans and Wales fan.

Elis is brilliant.

If you haven't heard it, seek out his Swansea special on the "Quickly Kevin" podcast. Proper old school Vetch memories. Well worth a listen.

Still good mates with him, we’re about 10 mins away from each other in south London. Did Bristol City away with him couple weeks ago and had the pleasure of attending his sons first Swans match away to Charlton (not sure his boy is that keen on going again any time soon 😂)

A clip came up on my Facebook - had no idea who he was but he could have been me. Grew up in West Wales - first proper club to the East the Swans. Rugby loving father. The Vetch was my temple of sin before returning to a County that wouldn’t allow a pub (or local swimming pool for that matter) open the next day for religious reasons.

He's done some acting, but mostly a stand-up comedian and radio/podcast host.

He was in a BBC sitcom called Josh (Widdicombe) but I think he was pretty much playing a version of himself.
Charlie Sheen (two and a half men) Larry David(curb your enthusiasm) are others that have basically played themselves in comedy series.
