• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

He is living the dream, playing cricket in an absolutely stunning part of the world.
In another pointless, identikit but ultimately lucrative franchise league which will at some point be the death of international cricket.

This is his dream, not ours.

Our dream is you getting them in on the first morning of an England tour to NZ.

“What are you having, Andrew?”
“That’s very good of you, I’ll have a beer please Andrew”.

His dream will be responsible for the death of ours.

Asa Tribe comes across as more of a longer form of the game cricketer, I would think? 🤔 He has signed a 3 year contract to propel Glammy to the 2026 County Championship and onto batting for England in the 2027 Ashes. Where he will make 1,000 runs and they will name the new stand at Lords after him.

Unfortunately the only direction Glamorgan will be propelling to is back into the 2nd division.

Kiran Carlson named new Glamorgan captain for 2026 season.

Tribe looks a generational talent in the making - however, to survive in Div 1 you need to take 20 wickets in every 4 day game.
Any one got any ideas which bowlers are going to make this happen?
