At it again threatening to blast Iran again, if they start killing those protesters, the dangerous times continues.

Starmer ready to deploy troops in Ukraine in a peacekeeping role, which will only enrage Putin, the twat is deranged enough as it is.

And yet he’s not bothered about the killing of a ‘protester’ in Minneapolis

He's a complete hypocrite and totally transparent. He got rid of Maduro from Venezuela, and the natural consequence should be that he installs the official opposition who are widely acknowledged to have won the recent elections but who were supressed and cheated by Maduro.
But no, Trump is not interested in democracy, only getting his greedy mitts on the oil so he leaves the existing regime in place with a more compliant leader. And he comes up with some pathetic excuse to deny Maria Corina Machado (who beat him to the Nobel Peace Prize) her rightful place back in Venezuela. And in his sad, deranged mind, he thinks people can't see through him.

I keep saying this, but I just don't get why the right thinking Americans (and there are surely 10s of millions of them) aren't standing up to him

You do keep saying and and I keep resisting replying so as not to appear argumentative, but I will this time. You said previously that the majority of Americans were loving it - I can categorically state that this is not true. I spent a bit of time in the conservative Midwest in 2025, prime Trump territory you would think so I made the conscious decision not to get in to it but to my surprise the natives were the ones to bring it up and could not wait to apologise for him. The ones that didn’t vote for him were berating those that did, and those that did were equally embarrassed and apologetic. I know it’s only a small sample but is significant, partly due to geography. His approval rating there is through the floor, and although for some reason it doesn’t get reported here, he is highly unpopular. He’s attempting to start civil unrest to avoid having to run the mid-terms when he will lose the house, proper despot dictator stuff and they know it.

I’m not disagreeing with anything you’ve said there but it always tickles me when people say he’s only after the oil when just about everyone of us uses oil every single day.

Because they get murdered when they do.

Oh and because they are Americans and they have put him in office twice. Once maybe a mistake, but twice shows how fucking dull millions of them are.

Oh and guns.

I don't quite follow your logic there, Darran. Yes, most of us do use it every day, but it doesn't follow we have to condone a fascist dictator stealing it from the people of Venezuela.

When my wife was putting Amy to bed last night I was flicking through the channels and there was a live press conference on with him.
He said that because he’s stopped eight wars since he’s been in the White House he probably deserves eight Nobel Peace Prizes. 🤣
The best thing was the 20 or so oil executives around the table with him nodding in agreement. 😂😂😂

He also said in the week that the Venezuelan lady who just won the Nobel Peace Prize is going to see him soon and he’s going to get the prize off her for himself.

I'm not sure I have ever said that on the basis that I don't know enough Americans. I may have implied that I couldn't understand how so many Americans voted for him. I do worry that there's enough voters who really don't see (or don't want to see) what he is up to.

To be completely clear here, I am merely wondering why there isn't more overt and vocal opposition to him. How would the average American express how their lives have improved under this president?

The problem is that mass protests play into his hands and enable him to declare a national state of emergency and not hold the mid term elections.
If that were to happen it could get very ugly (as if it isn’t ugly enough) in the US. Meanwhile he intends to take Greenland by any means to get his hands on the mineral resources under the guise of security. Greenland is ok with the US having as many military bases as they like on their territory but Trump wants to own it for the mineral wealth.

He's an attention seeking narcissist and a dangerous one to those that he can be a threat to and he picks his targets carefully at that.

You make an excellent point here. It would seem the only way to stop him is via the mid terms, but goodness knows what tricks he and Miller will get up to to skirt that process

Flippin ‘eck chaps, do we need to ask Phil to write instructions on how to use the quote button?
