The problem is that mass protests play into his hands and enable him to declare a national state of emergency and not hold the mid term elections.
If that were to happen it could get very ugly (as if it isn’t ugly enough) in the US. Meanwhile he intends to take Greenland by any means to get his hands on the mineral resources under the guise of security. Greenland is ok with the US having as many military bases as they like on their territory but Trump wants to own it for the mineral wealth.

I believe the top US military men swear allegiance to the Constitution, not the President. I'd like to think if Trump tries to subvert the mid term elections, he would meet some resistance from that quarter.

I believe the top US military men swear allegiance to the Constitution, not the President. I'd like to think if Trump tries to subvert the mid term elections, he would meet some resistance from that quarter.

He's ben purging the military commanders for a while now. He started with black women, went on to black men and then onto those who werent supportive of his anti-DEI and other "policies".

The US navy, which is the least bad of their services, has already been happy to commit murder in international waters for the "drug boats".
