• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

He's gone from bone spurs to brain spurs. He should be sitting in the shade of a nice Red Maple in a very expensive retirement home in Vermont, sipping coke through a straw and fumbling for the border pieces of a Trump Tower jigsaw puzzle.

See he’s rowed back on the military invasion and the tariffs on those countries that won’t help him.
I just read, unbelievably he said this in his “speech”. Chilling if true.

“Trump surmised: Yes, we might have our internal squabbles, but I am bringing tough love because we are all in this together. We are the standard bearers of western civilisation. We must resist the barbarian hordes. We must save the white man.”

Does that include the orange man?

Out of curiosity, where did you read that? Sounds like a ridiculous thing to say , even for him. 🙄

It depends on the commodity. This might be the case for essentials such as aluminium, but when it comes to luxury items the pinch is felt in the selling region. Jaguar Land Rover sales plummet in line with rising tariffs and it’s British industry jobs at risk.
102,000 UK made cars were sold in the USA in 2025. Mainly luxury vehicles that are less affected by tariffs (as millionaires dont really care if they want a Jaguar or a Bentley. These need to be diverted to other world markets.
Being passive to US trade wars will ultimately cause more damage than growing a pair and boycotting them and strangling their critical resource needs.
Canada under Carney are currently showing the world the blueprint.

Guardian I think, although not 100% sure. Might have been something less reliable. I’m not sitting through an hour of his demented senile dementia riddled rambling to find out.

Stick a certain moustache on him and it’s hard to ignore the comparisons.

The worst thing is, is that we’ve got another 3 years to wait for the hook to finally pull him from off of the stage, and even then I’m not entirely sure he’ll go quietly.

Maybe nature will take its course

It’s the people behind him that will keep this going. They won’t stop. Already strong rumours that the 2028 election is set up to be rigged, and that the national emergency card, caused by civil unrest, will be played to avoid the midterms altogether.

These things can collapse quickly when a thread starts unpicking, and that’s what any sentient person should hope. I’m sure our racist ‘patriots’ will be hoping the opposite, and that everything good that’s left about our country, is lost.

The protestors need to be very careful about how they protest because it’s highly likely that every excuse possible to cancel the elections.
