Absolutely shocking, 1 win ( Oxford) in the last 10 games, 5 defeats out of 6 under Matos. Out of our last 10 games of the season, 6 are away and 4 home. Of those 4 , three of them are Coventry, Middlesbrough and Southampton. Our next 3 away are Watford, Derby and Ipswich, with promotion contenders Bristol City and Preston home. We really do need to start picking up some points on the road , or it could yet be a nervy end to the season.

Disappointing results yes , performances no away to 3 of the top 6 against Coventry , Millwall & Hull we lost by the odd goal .
Those 3 games we could have had 2 draws
Coventry &.Hull we missed chances
Millwall score with a late goal deep into injury time .
I'm sure results will improve.

Just think how much worse it would have been if Sheehan were still here!
Its fine margins,we havent gone to those top sides and been on the end of a hammering.
We are now creating chances....compare the match stats of our home game v Hull where we scrapped a draw to yesterdays away game....our Xg was twice as much yesterday and and far more shots.....we couldnt convert those chances ,Cabango header Vip two sitters,Stamenic long range shot...We werent getring as many "chances" under Sheehan.
But yes its all about results not performances,if we were being totally outplayed and not threatening Id be more worried. We are niw becoming pretty much unbeatable at home what we nees is some "luck" away from home to boost the confidence.
What else do you suggest we should be doing then to fix the away form problem?

We look difficult to beat at home, I'm sure with a bit of luck and the odd tweak here and there to instill some confidence on the road, the results will pick up.

Then we can all go back to moaning about how shit the beer is at half time and people leaving early.

I think it’s just a case of time,
If we keep improving and performing, then the results will come

Our away games we have lost under Matos have been very tough opposition.

Coventry, Stoke, WBA, Hull and Millwall. 4 of those were in the top 6 when we played them I think. We played well in all of them, Millwall was probably the worst performance.

The others were hugely encouraging.

And we could have taken something from all of those games we were not outplayed in any of them ...and we were the away team. Coventry a case in point.....we could have beaten the table topping side had we again taken our chances...

I'm astounded by how many seem to accept we lost by the odd goal but played well! I honestly think the players got that approach to its not good enough as the games I playing out I just know we not gonna get anything from them despite doing well its a massive mentality issue

We're a bang average team, not sure what you're expecting.

I accept it but not happy but at the same time I recognise how we have improved....I suspect we woukd nit have have such good performances and the chances to get something from these games had Sheehan still be in charge.
In the matchday thread there are comments abiut our lack of creativity...yet how many chances to score did we have yesterday the Sky commentator also said we shoukd have had a hatful!
Frustrated we lost but we are not the "poor" team many are posting we are.....

Well on the performance level we are almost as good as these teams competing at the top end of the table. I understand it's fine margins and all that, but those fine margins never seem to be going our way. Don't know if it's a mentality issue or what, but 5 points out of the last 30 away is dreadful. Another thing we are good at is obliging teams completely out of form 3 points. Birmingham,(away) Bristol City, Leicester were hopelessly out of form when we played them yet turned us over just to name 3 . Watford next week haven't won for 4 games, you know what's coming Don't you?

I'm not saying we are a poor team. I really like Matos, and enjoy our football under him, but our results away from home are shocking. 5 points out of the last 30 away from home. We seem to be as good ,performance wise, as some of the top teams, but we are consistently on the wrong end of the scoreline.
