We have the bizarre situation where all four group winners are in the same Super 8’s group.

The Super 8 groups were pre drawn and included the top eight ranked ICC teams. If one of the top 8 then failed to qualify (Oz, snigger), they were replaced by the team which took their position in the first group stage, Zimbabwe in this case.

Very good on their day, pretty grim when they don’t turn up. They play WI first so we’ll soon find out how good their chances are.
