Cheese 🧀

Phew, thought it had been banned for a moment.

Started using Gouda for our burgers at home, delicious 😍

There are very few things that can’t be improved by adding cheese (or adding more cheese if cheese is already involved).

Gouda is a very underrated cheese.

Lovely in a sandwich with cucumber for a picnic.

Manchego is a stunning cheese. As is pecorino.
Definitely underrated. I can't believe I've only just started using it.

Sainsbury's does a lovely Wensleydale cheese with cranberries.

I’m not a huge fan of the cheese with fruit. Apart from Wensleydale with cranberries which is lovely. It’s nice toasted as well btw.

Shout out as well to Caws Cenarth (particularly the one with chilli) and Perl Las and Perl Wen. And Snowdonia Cheese Co Black Bomber which is gorgeous.

Haven't tried it toasted, I'll give it a bash and report back, thanks for the tip 😉

It’s the one food type that I am not good with. I used to eat cheese when I was a kid but somehow got turned off it and wouldn’t touch it for years. I’m better now and will dabble, but don’t go out of my way. There is nothing else I won’t touch, including anything the Chinese or Japanese could push my way. Will keep going on this cheese journey, I’d like to be able to say that there is nothing I won’t eat.

It was cheese with fruit that got me back eating cheese again. Cheese with onion is another one I will readily eat. I’m still a long way from a Stilton or a Roquefort.
