Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr
All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.
Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.
It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.
The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.
Seems like McBurnie burned his bridges with the Scottish FA when he had a run of caps a while back & didn't really cover himself in glory. But he's had a better season than most fo the forwards called up, so should have really been selected.
Seeing Brendan take off down the touchline when Prats scored was iconic. The stadium was literally shaking.
Leeds & Cardiff in the cup come close but for me, that was the best atmosphere I've ever experienced.
And if any of the players have relegation clauses in their contracts.
No matter what the squad is like, if they have players on £200k+ in the championship - they're in big trouble, parachute payments or not.
What is the point of punishing the club further?
It's all down to the owner.
Can't they punish him individually?
If they were cheating to better their position then fair enough.
But the owner is starving the club of money and letting it die. How is punishing the club with more points...
Not a clue tbh.
But they don't necessarily have to be Welsh.
We'll be on a hiding to nothing in the next Nations League campaign, so get someone competent in now - give them time to learn about the players before trying to qualify for Euro 2028.
I haven't seen anyone else saying this btw, so...
I'd let Bellamy go after that.
Started his reign well but has really fallen off.
He clearly has his favourites in terms of players - which you can't do when our pool to choose from is so limited.
Substitutions and tactics have cost us throughout the campaign.
Some other relatively big teams...
Have we learned nothing from Guehi's loan here? He wasn't much cop in the first 6 months.
But he adapted, learned & was then one of our best players.
never write off a player too soon.
Until we tighten up ship away from home, we can forget about the playoffs.
Far too many silly mistakes costing goals & games.
Matos has done really well to address our home form, which rightly should have been the first thing he looked at.
But we're still too inconsistent to put a run...
