• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler
    Owner, jackarmy.net

Players we've hated but perhaps admired as well.

It was Watford who stopped us going up the season before we finally got promoted from Division 4, on the day Tosh got his Bells manager of the month award.(You can see the results for April that year below, if you have very good eyesight. Never complain about fixture congestion again) It was as...

    25 Years of match memories

Robin Turner. Bond performed his own miracle. He signed a gaggle of freebies. Paul Price, Alan Waddle came back. Ray McHale, Colin Sullivan.

A 3 year plan to maybe make the playoffs? Wow. :ROFLMAO: I wish Id been in that press conference. In a crazy dvision where a releated team got relegated again and Millwall almost went up auto, and your 3 year plan is playoffs? Christ.

I saw that. They have good chance of staying up now. Heart in mouth stuff.

    I Blame Jordan Ayew

Until he got sent off at Hudds we were almost certainly safe. In his defence he did appear to slip. If we had won that game, we would have stayed up.

    JackArmy.net - Twenty-Five Years And Out

I havent posted on here much recently. I havent been to a game in ages. My interest in the club is low as its ever been. Nevertheless when I saw this site was closing it made me reflect. When I joined this site a week before the Hull game..THE Hull game, it was because I couldnt focus on work...
