    Widdell again playing the enthusiastic spaniel role. Parker, Tymon and Fulton looking the most assured so that's probably our first 3 subs. Superb support for a midweek midtable end of season match.

    A positive pre season helps to set the tone. Last summer was not that despite the hype re the world class recruitment apparatus. Data driven recruitment might be good on paper but shite on grass. Just a thought. Hopefully Vic has the right contacts in his address book.

    I thought Fulton played very well and added stability and confidence to our centre backs. Cabango was excellent and also one of Burgess better games. Parker grew admirably into the game. Not sure what Stamenic brought to the game. Widdell ran around a lot but achieved little. That save from...
