Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr
All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.
Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.
It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.
The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.
This was always the best Swans online space, and it's sad to see it go. There have been plenty of alternatives over the years, some predating j.net of course, but many of the others often seemed to cater for particular types of fan, whether by accident or design. I knew j.net was the place for...
I'd like to think monmouth's hope comes true and mart6 rejoins on the final day and just down-votes everyone's posts without adding any comment and then leaves.
StAthanIdiot, AKA no baloney mahoney. 'Highly opinionated' - shall we say - but a good poster. I seem to remember a time when someone had posted suicidal thoughts on here and he either found a way to get to their house or contact authorities to do so for an intervention. Anyone else remember...
Watched the 1st and 2nd seasons of Paradise recently on Disney+. Didn’t really know what was going on for the first couple of episodes, but it turned out to be pretty good; much better than I was expecting. Decent mix of kinda believable sci-fi, political machinations, murder mystery...
Worst part about the stoppage was the round was basically over as the ref waived it off. Rico was quite literally on the ropes, but still had his hands up defending himself. He was hardly arms down, getting pummeled in the face with serious injury a punch away. A few of Usyk’s punches appeared...
They did look tasty for a while in the game against us under Hellberg, but throughout the play-offs, and especially today, I was getting PTSD watching their tedium-ball.
The written explanation was making my brain stall, but thankfully there's a link to pdf/powerpoint in there to make it clearer for simple people like me...
I tried twice to create an account on Vital. First time I was rejected with the message that I could be a spam bot, so if I'm not, reply. So I replied to confirm I am not a spam bot. never heard back, account still rejected. Tried to register again separately with different details another time...
The Bury away game (promotion to L1 on last day of season) as well. He was immense in that. Ran himself into the ground for the cause that day. I'll never forget that.
Brogan Popham is a bit of a suprise to me. He and Harlan Perry were the two that Man City and Man Utd were allegedly fighting to sign a year or so ago. I know there's no doubt a ton of salt to be taken with reporting like that, but I assumed he was seen as one we'd be looking to keep and...
