Sheehan Is Not For Me. Decision Made.

Similar with Williams - a lot of current and former players will tell you he's the best coach they've ever worked with, but - at least for us - that didn't translate to Head Coach/Manager ability. Some people should just stay as coaches.

    Alan Sheehan-Manager for Next Season

I know there's a lot of cynical talk about Sheehan nailed on to be here/already decided etc., but I wouldn't dismiss the desire for a new DOF to go out and get 'his guy'. I could potentially have seen Coleman, if he was still in charge, as being so weary of manager appointments after Duff and...

    That tackle

Ok, so it was kinda both of them. They both thought each other was covering that run so nobody did. Key just stood there defeated and Joe sprinted in to make a very high risk challenge to save the day, so I don't think we can take too much away from him on that one.

    That tackle

That's what I thought at the time, but I read someone else say it was Key (which wouldn't surprise me). Might have to put the hazmat suit on and watch the 'highlights' to see for myself.

    Alan Sheehan-Manager for Next Season

I completely understand the allure of novelty that underpins a lot of the ‘Never Sheehans’ out there, but I think the fantasy of the unknown knight in white armour from the continent who’ll come in and revolutionize the club and take us to the glory land is just that at this point - a fantasy...

Few replays of the goal and Joe’s tackle (ooer-missus) and job done.

    Ginelly

Best we move on in the summer if we can. Should never have signed him given his injury record.

    Alan Sheehan-Manager for Next Season

Wait and see how the remainder of the season goes. We have the luxury of not having to make a decision now. Personally I think there are 2 questionable mindsets going around right now: 1) Decided weeks ago that under no circumstances should he get the job. Boneheaded. Needlessly closed off to...

Your '1-0 Eom' arrived a week late, but welcome nonethless.

Is this a ' do you think he will be' or a 'do you want him to be' poll?

I agree in general, but I think Darling is looking for a big pay day and I think he’ll get it from somewhere. Would be surprised to see him back next season.

    Lewis O’Brien

He was poor today along with the rest of them (although I’ll give Joe a pass). Still glad he’s out there instead of Statty.

Right. I think we’re in last chance saloon when it comes to stopping the rot. Need some stability, some professionalism from those running the club. If we don’t turn the corner next season we’ll probably be toast and back in league 1. Positive about us staying up this year, but zooming out...

Ugly as sin, but all about the 3pts today. Derby had a plan and it didn't involve this being an exhibition of the beautiful game. We helped them out by being very ordinary ourselves, but job done at the end of the day - on to the next one.
