Where we’re going Marty, we won’t need strikers

If we pull this off, based on that montage, Vigoroux’s possession stats may fall off a cliff this season. Exciting one

One of my maddest memories is the Yeovil Friday night game. I didn’t go down with my Father, I went with the boys from the pub as we were out before and after the game. The barmaid from the pub had a night off and asked if she could join us all. You can probably guess who she was….

I’d bet that if we combined the amount of touches that Yates, Myk, Lowe, Cullen, Bianchini and Vip have had in the opposition half, it wouldn’t be more than Cabango has had in ours. As mentioned on pages 67,98 and 134 of this thread, this is my worry when talking about strikers. I like Vipotnik.

I’m expecting a big season from Eom. The boy looks class at times, if he can get a good run of games going, he could be crucial for us.

There were 3 players to go for in League 1 and we went for them all (Poku, Galbraith and Kone). I’d imagine we’ve got the Transworld Sport DVD out of the box now.

In at the deep end against a very good side (their starting eleven). We were at the ground early and after watching them warm up, I checked £30 on them to win. Way too quick for us. I think it’s good that Parker is now in the mix with the first team. He’s more than ready for a loan move to L1/2...

I thought he did ok and I’m looking forward to seeing him progress. He looked comfortable on the ball and no less comfortable in defence as his esteemed CB partner.

Apart from the pen and a tackle, I don’t think Cullen had a meaningful touch in their half (not blaming him). Galbraith looked great. They were far too quick for us, both mentally and physically. They were playing killer balls into danger areas and following up with a wave of 4/5 players.

We’re getting bummed on the flanks. Ronald and Key are struggling. Galbraith looks like an outstanding player.

I think it’s telling that he doesn’t get slagged to death on here. He looks like he has something. Would have liked to have seen him on the wing. He’s lightning.
