    Alan Sheehan-Manager for Next Season

Sheehan is doing fantastic and should be seriously considered for the job full time. That being said, I think it would be naive of the board not to take time and fully review who is available once the season is concluded. If the best option is still Sheehan after that then no problem.

    Relegation Update

Some awful results for us today. Derby could be 3 points behind us when they come to the Lib.

    New Manager

We need a shift from the usual type now imo. Haven’t got the key ingredients for controlled possession based football anymore. Someone with attacking intent and a relentless press would be nice. An experienced head until end of the season if the right man isn’t available currently.

    I've heard

Someone mentioned that the cost of relegation would be estimate at 7 million per year… I think the club have to take a gamble here.

Darling was ambling around the pitch from the first second of the game. Ridiculously half paced the whole game. I would play him as little as possible going forward. Clearly cannot be arsed.

    Lewis O'Brien Appreciation Thread

Loved the passion after the late block. He’s going to be huge for us.

question is - how does the back 3 line up with Darling back? Naughton was comfortable in that role today. A great option to have at least.

Find a solution to play out instead of aimlessly kicking long, sure up the defence of set pieces and that’s a good foundation set today. I don’t mind Ronald playing wing back in games we expect to dominate. Key or Parker away though please. Thoroughly enjoyed Naughton’s performance it was...

    January Transfer Rumours

I always wonder at this stage - why would you submit an offer not knowing the asking price? It’s deadline day and you’re submitting offers that are getting turned down. Bizarre. Either pay the asking price or move on at this stage. Unless it’s a ‘see we did try’ tactic.

Push the wingbacks to full backs and then bring Vip on??? This is unbelievable game management I have to say. Hope I’m wrong but doesn’t make sense.

    Jacob Wright - £4m

A 4 million package deal could mean anything in terms of structure though.

Captain Grimes on his way to Coventry City?

I actually don’t think Grimes is impossible to replace. Maybe that’s controversial. I just don’t trust the owners to replace him at all let alone with someone half decent.

Captain Grimes on his way to Coventry City?

Can’t wait until we ‘miss out’ on an exciting replacement and Jay Fulton takes over his role for rest of the season.

    Matt Grimes

Not great when our captain and manager have both been linked to sideways moves. Let’s see if Grimes does the come get me plea like Williams. I can’t for a second believe that they are already bidding without knowledge that he’s keen.

Season 24/25 | The Official Match Thread | Swansea City 2 Portsmouth FC 2 | The EFL Championship

I think every honest Swans fan saw that coming today. It’s part of the Swansea way to struggle against bottom of the league at home 😁 that being said good fight back and should have won in the end.
