• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

Lovely win. We’ve gone from being a first half team to being a second half team. Once Matos gets us being a 90 minute team we will be a force home and away. Hopefully Key sticks around he can be useful rotation on the wing.

Watching in the stands yesterday the press and counter press were the most noticeable improvement. I think most of the work on the training ground is or has gone into that. Matos has still only been here just over a month and his staff have been here even less, so I expect the other elements to...

Is it just me or have every top 6 side we’ve played been garbage? And we’ve been worse on most occasions but I didn’t think we were today. Key has lost us that game. Still making some poor decisions in the final third but believe it will come. If that’s the level of the top 6 we should be...

If we do what I suspect we will do - which is, struggle over the next 10/13 games and then sack the manager for a ‘experienced championship type’ to save our season - it will only delay the inevitable rot within the club. You’ve given the manager a 4 year deal, he’s young, ambitious and...

    Relegation? Should We Be Worried?

I didn’t say it was in fairness. Good enough to stay in the league though? I think so.

    Relegation? Should We Be Worried?

Do you think we have one of the three worst squads in the league?

    New manager assistants

To be fair… Ronald was a constant threat for Derby all night.

    Relegation? Should We Be Worried?

I have to admit, I started to lose a bit of balance in my thoughts watching last night and the conclusion was - we’re done. I don’t really buy into “the players aren’t good enough” narrative. We still have most of the players who performed well in the second half of last season and the key...

Hopefully Matos can turn it around but currently we can’t defend, can’t pass and have no quality in attack. That only usually leads to one thing. The club have made their bed though so I think the manager should be given time no matter what happens. You’ve given him a 4 year contract have some...

We might get a win in league one. Not sure about too many before then though.

The press from Ipswich isn’t even good. We’re just incapable of a decent first touch or a pass at the moment. Ref really isn’t helping either the bookings have been a joke.

Ronald was seeing so much of the ball in the last 5/10 I remember thinking “Benson coming on here could really cause some trouble” as Hull were committing so many forward. Ronald looked absolutely done after 85… we even only used 4 subs! So bizarre surely you bring him on to freshen the legs and...
