Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr
All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.
Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.
It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.
The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.
It's not stadium size but how many turn up and spend their money that's important. And we were 20th out of 24 in attendances this season, with one of those below us being Wr*xh*m, who have all that sponsorship cash sloshing around. Not great for us, I'd say.
I saw on Reddit some Spurs fans wouldn't mind him taking over till the end of the season. Not sure that is possible, but he is supposedly doing his coaching badges. Could see him back here in the future.
I, for one, am overjoyed that the Welsh government has given £5.70 from every person in Wales to a club that spent £38,000,000 in transfer fees this summer.
Not being a follower of England I'm surprised it sold out. I did try and get tickets in the family section (£25) for me, a friend, and her 10 year old son, but all had gone. Probably full of tourists.
