May have offered him less than we did Vipotnik. That’s how it should be btw. He may not like that, but we hold very strong cards.

Absolutely agree if we can sustain ourselves with the money from him. Not sure we’ll get as much as we may imagine though to be honest.

Better in the second half at keeping the ball and creating and it’s not often we’ve seen that. The first 15 of the second half was as good as we’ve played in a while. Walta has great vision - we really need to start seeing more of him. Never a penalty but we’re due one. Would have left on...

One of them would have been the best pass played from midfield all season.

No, absolutely not. Keep Walta on for experience. Yalcouye shouldn’t play again unless absolutely necessary.

Fulton and Parker are playing well. Some great pressing in the middle. Couple of good saves from Vigs. Well taken goal after good work from Fulton. But for the love of God can we just calm it down, keep the ball, find one of our players and show some composure. We are great at pressing and...

Pleased with the selection. Good chance to see Idah and Walta. And hope to see Woodward as well. QPR’s ground is 15 minutes’ walk for me from home. Sadly I’m not able to go as I’m a couple of hours away. Always seem to play them midweek and the past few years it keeps clashing with me not being...

Your point re release clause may be what’s driving this. Although that would mean the report re Wrexham being turned down wouldn’t make sense. If there isn’t one, we have another three years anyway. Forget it for now. I’d sell him rather than Vipotnik. Trouble is we won’t get anywhere near as...

    Club accounts

They are yes. But a company discloses any material (significant) changes that have happened between year end and the date of signing the accounts. In certain circumstances they adjust their accounts (known as a post balance sheet event) but in general they sing any positive changes from the...

    Club accounts

I added the following to my previous post: “ Edited to add: this doesn’t mean that this stuff isn’t being planned for, it is just very odd that no mention is made. It may just be that the Americans are less used to being transparent in a set of financial statements. Which they will need to come...

    Club accounts

The financial statements are now available on the Companies House website. What hit me was how bizarrely downbeat the whole document is. No stated ambition other than staying in the championship and becoming more self sustaining. Lots about how difficult that is. Lots about player contracts...

    Table since Matos took over

Completely agree with your second part. Let’s hope the club get a recruitment system in place soon.

    Ok, I'll say it.

I also think he’s doing the same role as Franco. Who has 3 goals and 4 assists, highlighting the issue with Widell. And actually scoring as opposed to nearly scoring is the difference between good players and not good players. As I said, he needs to improve next season.

    Table since Matos took over

As I said in my post I fear that we can’t find a way of getting past the better teams. You are just confirming that? I also think he’s doing ok. But no more than that at the moment. My hope is that he does better with his choice of new players. My worry is this - we recruited him (apparently...

Leicester are going down so an odd point to make.
