When I started watching us I didn't give a toss about league position or points. I just wanted us to win the game, right here, right now, and had no idea where the opposition or we were in the table. I was always blindly optimistic that we would win too, and if we lost, well, we'll win next...

There’s one rather obvious candidate. If not him, then someone connected to him or a club cheerleader. And it’s not Risc 🤣. But who cares. If Dimbo gets it right, he becomes a hero to me, which would be quite the leap.

He’s not what he was, that’s for shewer. Unfortunately the others are what they were.

He’s not even in the top half dozen of players in his position, let alone the top 50 of greatest players.

I think Franco is suffering badly from role ambiguity. I can’t really see how any two of Galbraith, Stamenic and Franco play in the same midfield without similar issues. This is the problem when you buy players to trade, not components of a team to ‘jelly’ together. One of the differences...

They’re not mugs if they beat Soton, who have been in good form. We could really do with a win to get us moving again and push us further away from them, but a draw is pretty much a minimum requirement here.

That’s odd, as it’s also the definition for “Rather ugly miniature object, often placed in gardens”. For my money, both Cooper’s teams were both better teams than this Coventry team.

Every decision he made for 5 minutes leading up to that was bent, including retaking the corner that led to the ‘handball’ when Stoke arsed it up. I reckon his ego was bruised by the crowd baiting him and he thought ‘I’ll show them’. Or, as many speculated at the time, he had a bet on the...

    The Ashes 2025/26

I still remember him and Brearley totally farking up the World Cup Final in 1979. Pair of snails taking up loads of overs. Tosspot used to bowl by turning his cap the wrong way round too. Everyone following had to swing the bat against the West Indies. Loads of ducks and wasted...

Yes, but I'm not sure they can play together. cashing in on the Galbraith hype (not what I want) might not do us any damage in the round.

I think we'll be ok Eteb, but a team that can't cut it in both penalty boxes (and that's us so far all season) is in severe risk of falling through the trap door, there's no two ways about it. We simply have to improve or we're in serious peril. I think Monday is actually pretty big.
