• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

Rushworth - here again next year?

I’d imagine this has been agreed on the basis of us staying up. Great news

    Joe Allen

Now that we’ve got our wingers, searching for a Joe/Leon-type midfielder should be top of the pops in the summer.

Season 23/24 | The Official Match Thread | Sunderland FC v Swansea City | The EFL Championship

A game of 2 halves. Where we want to be and where we’ve been. We’ve shown what we’re capable of now. Didn’t think we’d go back into our shells in the second half though.

3/1 and I do fancy us to get something. Kiss of death accumulator on.

    The Chuckle Brothers

This issue was there under Duff but visible elsewhere. The 3 centre halves would play the ball wide to Tymon or Key and they’d be the ones isolated and with no options. Don’t like doing this but I’ll give an example, the Ipswich game, 2-1 down, Cabango has the ball, nothing on other than the...

    The Chuckle Brothers

The slagging off and scapegoating of these two doesn’t sit right with me. As mentioned, tons of potential, they’re our boys, not on loan, we should be backing them. There are problems elsewhere on the pitch which are putting them under pressure in my opinion. Next time one of them gets the...

    The Chuckle Brothers

We’ve got a squad full of players who either aren’t good enough or are underperforming. Wood and Cabango are the latter in my opinion. Cabango is a Welsh international who recently had a great game in a tough away match in Poland where, for 89mins had the better of Lewandowski. Wood was...

    The Chuckle Brothers

Spot on Daps. And to add to that, we have a midfield determined to give the ball straight back to them rather than take a touch or turn. Centre halves aren’t supposed to have that much possession, the opposition must be licking their lips. They are a young bunch and all have big potential. I...

For the sake of balance, Downes was a Martin buy also. Downes went for 35 times more than Fisher cost.

….To sign O’Reilly and Ogbene for less than what we’ve paid for Jerry Yates and/or Big Myk.

Sorry, I wasn’t paying attention to their manager or owners.

Just got in, soaked through, another loss….. there’s one difference today though, I actually enjoyed the game. Probably the first time I can say that this season. Ipswich’s forward line were killers, only real difference for me.
