• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Responsible, Sustainable Ownership 👌

Record spend in this league last term. Majority of signings were poor. Top half net spend this term. Yet we have an average squad with clear lack of depth Cutting our cloth, massively. Retaining the very best Captain and midfield maestro, delivering: Marmite Top 2 - possession Means nothing...

Swanwick Pentrich Road FC - Interesting club badge

Have they got a striker they could give us in return that badge?

I'd be delighted with a mid table finish which I think we will just about scrape, however our squad is very thin, we are one or two injuries away from some major struggles.

Swansea City: What next for Jamie Paterson?

"There would no reason for me to go elsewhere but at the same time, it’s not up to me.” That means pay me what I want and I'll stay, if not I'm off to the highest bidder. It's modern football unfortunately.

    Season rating

Upcoming one is huge, once a club starts to slide it can be hard to stop. We bought a lot in last summer, not many successes. This one needs a big turnover to give us a chance.

    Season rating

Positives for me: Cardiff at home, showed what we can do, atmosphere created by the fans was superb. Rushworth, top young keeper who has the potential to go to the top. Williams, felt like he and the club had regained a plan and direction. Negatives: Loans, too many for the sake of it, many...

A reflection on the season-Duff and Williams.

An awful season with hopefully some sign of hope at the end of it. My worry is we need a major overhaul with lots of deadwood getting rid of, Williams himself has basically said this. Watson and Coleman have hardly covered themselves in glory with recent transfer dealings.

    Officially the worst corner ever...

If you need one moment to sum up the whole performance, there it is.

Do we have the slowest back 4 in the championship

Pace wise they are way off, more worrying is their football intelligence. Over the years some of the best centre halves haven't necessarily been the fastest, but their understanding and ability to read the game makes up for it. Unfortunately Wood and Cabango are slow paced and slow thinkers...

Maybe trying to avoid recurring injuries being made public in case of affecting future value?

The summer exits will present the biggest challenge yet for Coleman & Co

Anyone trust them in a rebuild if we go down?

    Rubbish, as ever!...

Had the same issue and went through the tickets section and it worked out fine. On a positive note, I had a query this morning so dropped the ticket office an email, they got back to me within minutes with the problem solved. Credit when its due (y)
