• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

Yes was considered when Laudrup left. Surprised he hasn’t been considered for the Man City job - same with the Bournemouth manager. Both excellent

Players we've hated but perhaps admired as well.

Gavin Williams - Yeovil Darren Byfield - Gillingham? Peter Jackson - Huddersfield Manager Richie Wellens - Doncaster Freddy Eastwood - Southend Always played well against us and all seemed to hate us

last 3/4 games he’s looked stronger & more decisive on the ball. He’s always looked great on the ball, but he now seems to be producing an end product rather than some fancy footwork and no end result. That assist against Leicester will have done his confidence a boost and it shows

    New indoor arena Cardiff Bay

Wonder what will happen to the CIA (Utility/Motorpoint) once this opens. Cardiff have a great selection of live entertainment venues with this, Wales Millennium Centre, New Theatre, Principality stadium etc

    Zan Vipotnik

Think he would suit the German/Italian leagues - slower pace and more time - think he would struggle in the Prem

    Zan Vipotnik

Confidence will do a lot for a player. He’s eager for the ball and confident with it at his feet - something he wasn’t doing last season

    Just not seeing it.

Agree on the original points of this post. I always think it’s a little bit of a cop out when a Manager says about giving up possession against teams like Middlesborough & Coventry and talk about our off the ball play. We should be looking at dominating every home game - even against teams in...

He did his coaching badges with Matos & our assistant coach so that’s the link

    Zan Vipotnik

we’ll find it difficult to replace someone who has scored as many goals as Vipotnik this season he’s been sensational However I do feel we need someone who can provide a more all round game than Vipotnik. He’s proved he’s a great goalscorer - but I don’t think he provides us much when he’s not...

I read even his own mother hoped this would finally be the end for him so doubt even his own family would grieve his death

Had a couple of outstanding games for us - a great free signing back in League 1. Sheffield United away in the FA Cup comes to mind. 3,000 swans fans in the away end always remember him doing the dodgeball celebration

Looking forward to seeing Walta. Think I would have preferred Nunes ahead of Ronald but usual team apart from that

    Marks and spencer Swansea

Cardiff is on a different level. The St David’s Development 15 years ago has absolutely transformed the city centre. £4 per hour to park in St David’s & almost guaranteed to be full by lunchtime on a Saturday. Swansea looks like a third world city in comparison
