Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr
All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.
Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.
It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.
The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.
We do not have the cash for such a window unless we move on a few players for hefty wedges. We need to be realistic of where we are financially and the rules we need to follow. The squad we currently have can definitely challenge for top 8 next year, so retention and bedding in young talent will...
Meant to have royally annoyed a lot of staff last night. Not sure what they were expecting given his history and personality! Just hope that the relationship wasn't soured on both sides so they can build the brand as intended
Although we have had the players there all along, it shows how much an energetic manager with an actual personality can bring to a team and to the fans.
Vast contrast to Sheehan (no hate on the bloke, but he didn't give much personality/energy wise)
With him now in we are starting to look like a real package for next year.
Fingers crossed we can hold onto some of our star players this summer for a good push next year 🤞
Positives again though to be fair, every week we are looking a bit better. The hunger difference and desire to chase down is night and day to the last few managers. Fingers crossed we can finish some chances second half
There is absolutely no way dead wood like him should be given a sniff back here, hardly pulled up trees in bang average league 1 team. Sooner he is cut the better.
Can see what you mean though in terms of pressing and chasing, but surely Widell can play that role
It will all be fine, we have the players to turn it around and the Jan window is just around the corner. A decent RB is a must as Key has looked extremely poor since his longish injury last year. No.10 seems also to be lacking but still have faith Widell can fill that role.
Whatever we do this...
