Canada PM Mark Carney 🇨🇦

And that is the correct adult reply!

I would love to visit the States, and also many other countries. No way can I afford it at the moment, but if I could, I would love to go.

Pegos stance on this is quite laughable, and absolutely futile.. It's like he never got the memo, he's a grain of sand on a big beach.
Yet enough grains of sands together can form a beach or a dune.

For example, US companies are beginning to face the realities of Canadians (their biggest trading partner) shunning US goods in favour of Canadian products:

Wait until trumpy bollocks crashes the world economy, and that’ll end up being Starmers fault no doubt. I see one of his goons yesterday was blaming the lack of free speech in the Uk as one of the reasons they have to put tariffs on Uk goods. No doubt our fabulous patriots 🤣🤣 will lap it up though.

We'd love you to visit the States too.

And don't come back.

Yes, I understand that. But what Pegojack has stated, is that he’s not going to the states because Trump is in power, so he’s not going to achieve anything. Trump is staying for his term, he’s hardly likely to step down because a few people say ‘We don’t like Trump’ and therefore although we like the place, just not going to go.

Who is running the country should be little relevance to choosing a holiday destination, in my humble opinion anyway, I was no great fan of Joe Biden, but it would be the last thing on my mind to choose not to go, simply because he was in charge.

If enough people decide they aren’t going to holiday in the States, then it’ll mean there’s less money going in to their economy, less money, less jobs etc. If what’s being posted on many social media accounts is true and that Canadians are boycotting the US, then if Europeans start staying away it’ll definitely impact.

I’m assuming you mean the tariffs, now that you mention the Canadians, not people with TDS?

Which I can somewhat understand, but to choose not to go to a certain place, because you have a problem with the leader of the country, is crazy.

Why people worry about other countries politics is beyond me, I raise a few eyebrows at other countries doings, but I would love to go to any country in the World, China, Russia, Afghanistan, Israel, I would love to go there and meet the people, not what you see on the tv.

Aye, I heard the Bavarian Alps were a fantastic place to visit in 1942...
