I think we could be in danger of losing him at the end of next season.Does anyone think we're in any danger of losing him in the summer? (Franco)

Any half competent scouting departments will already be more than aware of him.I think we could be in danger of losing him at the end of next season.
He's a rough diamonds at the moment who needs another season in this league before he potentially comes on the radar of so called bigger teams.Any half competent scouting departments will already be more than aware of him.
If any had watched the Hull match they would have been recommending their clubs to buy him with top marks
We are fortunate for two reasons:
1. It is only his first season in the English leagues, other clubs may want to wait and see how he develops for another season before committing to buying
2. He is only one year into a four year contract period, that combined with his relatively young age (24) puts us firmly in the driving seat when it comes to demanding top prices. Hopefully the new ownership and DoF actually know how to drive a bargain unlike the previous leadership
Defo not. His contract is a long one and he is not the finished product. If he improves and he will next summer might be a test to keep him.Does anyone think we're in any danger of losing him in the summer? (Franco)
I’ll temper that by saying that Fulton was one of two actually trying in that gameIf Sheehan gets the role. I guarantee Fulton will see his contract out. The guy has always been a player who liked a yellow and that crazy red card in the final, few years ago. Fulton is a player who doesn't bring anything to the team. Sadly he won't be going anytime soon.
Unless he has a buyout clause that says otherwise in his contract the club can afford to play hardball if this were true.Spoken with some apparent "ITK's" (and heard others say similar), they reckon he is 100% off in the summer and there has been enquiries already.
Hope they are all wrong, but given his performances this year whilst settling I would not be surprised at all...
Completely agree with you, IF it is true then we are in no need to be low balled.Unless he has a buyout clause that says otherwise in his contract the club can afford to play hardball if this were true.
£25m not a penny less, he has another three years left on his contract, he is only 24 years old and will only get better with more time in the Championship and the English football pyramid in general.
If he were to go then that would be a full midfield rebuild starting with only Widell, here is to hoping that he staysEvery player is a available at the right price.
I would say 25M is a bit too adventurous but certainly 10M plus is achievable and fair.
I would be happier to keep, if he was to go then the positives would be that we could replace and strengthen in other areas.
Absolutely not, if a young defender from the team currently the joint worst in Premier League history is worth £70m+ then there is no chance at all that Franco is only one seventh as valuable as that.Every player is a available at the right price.

I take your points and agree with some.Absolutely not, if a young defender from the team currently the joint worst in Premier League history is worth £70m+ then there is no chance at all that Franco is only one seventh as valuable as that.
£10m plus addons is the price that we had to accept for Piroe with one year left on his contract
Franco is a star player we can build our entire team around for the next half a decade and he will only get better. Time, talent and the length of his contract are all on our side. If a club wants a player with 3 years on his contract remaining then its a seller's market, not a buyer's one. Pay what we demand or GTFO
I take back what I said somewhat, its not a defender I was thinking of its a winger...I take your points and agree with some.
Issue we have, we are losing money and Franco will be 25 this year so closes the window a bit in regards to value. We need to also take into consideration if there is a buy out fee in his contract and what % there is to his former club.
If we got 15M for him then we would have done fantastic in my eyes.
