I agree nowhere is cheap anymore but saying that.....Nowhere is cheap anymore JL, never had a bad meal at the Eagle to be honest.
This place is tidy for Sunday Lunch we called there on way back from Hereford a few months ago, there are two other places in close proximity as well The Angel and Sgwd Gwladys opposite we had lunch here bout 6 weeks on a Saturday nice food, Sunday lunch looks very good here as well. The Old White Horse Inn: Pontneathvaughan | Home
The Old White Horse in the Village of Pontneathvaughan is a family friendly pub with a great choice of drinks and an amazing menu of home-cooked food served daily. We have outdoor seating for warm days and a real fire indoors for coolder ones. We have Live Music onsite parking and we're dog friendly too.www.theoldwhitehorse-pontneddfechan.foodndrink.uk
Not been on it, off up to Hereford in a fortnight so will test it out then River Season reopens a week tomorrow.I agree nowhere is cheap anymore but saying that.....
We had 2 steak and chips, 2 Madri's and 2 small bottles of Freixenet prosecco for £33 on Friday night in the White Rose in Mumbles.
What do you think of the A465 since it's finished. I am loving it

The A465 route from Swansea in probably about 20 miles shorter and quicker by maybe 20 minutes but in the day it is just a much more scenic route from Dowlais top and without the terrible M4 trafficI'm on it from Birmingham airport in 2 weeks as M4 is shut around Pyle overnight for 6 months of roadworks.
