Be more worried about us both being away on the same day, particularly if we were both heading for the same part of the country. Not sure if that's happening or not.

We are both away when we play Boro our opening day, they have Port Vale.
When we play Bristol City away, they play Northampton away.
When we are at Watford, Cardiff go to Burton.
When we play Ipswich away, they are at Doncaster.
Our game up in Wrexham, they head down to Exeter.

Can’t see us taking much to Boro especially with the club not offering supporters buses now.

If we are there or thereabouts in the playoff pack then March and April would be make or break time for our season, as you said the run in is horrific
Maybe I'm glass half full. I don't overly see major fears with that period. Yes some good teams in there. But if we are being serious to get to play offs then no fear needed. Bring it on.

Just looked into going to the Boro and Wed games - £212 & £123 day returns from my abode just outside that there London….on a feckin Saturday !!🙄…feck that! I don’t know whether to laugh or cry. The ordinary fan is totally priced out of the game - trains, tickets, pints, grub…It’s a bloody racket - so glad I did it all when I was young and it was affordable…
Plastic 😉😂

You're right on cost of travel now especially on trains..you could get to most places by train from South Wales relatively cheap. Those days are long gone sadly. The club could easily lay on coaches with subsidised pricing similar to what Stoke do.

Car or mini bus shares seem to be the favoured travel unless you have a local train service wherever you're based to a game.

From my perspective... only London and Southampton games are better by train.. games north of the M4, East Anglia and Bristol City are better by road.

No novelty new grounds for me in this year's Championship so will pick and choose my away games.

I rather like the idea of us getting all the weaker teams out of the way by March, leaving us to coast into the play-offs in April.

I know luck has alot to play in what happens. But if we have to be looking at coasting or easiest option then do we really deserve that? I'm not saying we should be a Leeds but maybe not coast it and show we can compete against any team as it will be a hell lot harder in Premier league.

Disappointed the first game is Boro away for successive seasons. Last year I had the optimism bug for a win there and flew from Bristol to Newcastle, hired a car, stayed the night in Newcastle, drove to Boro for the game then drove the hire car straight to Bristol Airport, then jumped in my car to drive home. Not doing that again.
