Quite disappointed by this today. Can be argued that it's summer holiday etc etc but surely that could have been a benefit.
The club have been proactive and showing ambition with recruitment....Cooper,Martin and Williams all long gone so for me there was no excuses on that front.

Should have been closer to a sell out for me today. Hopefully a pick on numbers next weekend after today's result and a couple of new faces coming in.

If you were not there today but can get there next week......GET YOUR ARSES DOWN THERE.

Hugely disappointing.. The new owners in fairness have brought some real quality to the club on the playing front. If i was one of them i wouldn't be impressed with that attendance figure.

I wouldn't blame them either.

In fairness it might well have been a sell out if the online ticket purchasing system wasn't a pile of wank
Not saying that it cost them 5000 tickets, but there would have been plenty who tried, got pissed off and then either went to get a beer or watch it on some dodgy virus ridden stream link instead

It was busier than I expected having seen some seat map images on Twitter showing banks of empty seats. But still short of what it should be for first home game, my guess is that the Boro performance shaved off quite a few walk ups.

Can see there being slightly less there next Saturday, early kick off (which a lot of people don't like) it's on tv, and can't see Watford bringing as many as Sheffield United did.

The attendance of 15,800 was about 300 over our average attendance last season. Sounds about right to me given the last few seasons.

It will take some big results or us being at the top end of the table to push it upwards. We've lost the one match guaranteed to sell out also, can't see us doing the same for Wrexham.

Think it will be close, only thing i think may bring the crowd down is it's the last Saturday before Christmas, which generally affects attendances.

The guy sitting next to me today used to be a ST holder but hasn’t attended a game for years, so i suppose some of those PL fans might start coming back if we keep winning and play an exciting brand of football.
