Cabango has flourished in the last 12 months. Always a defender, less of a footballer, but he has become Mr Dependable and has come to look comfortable and assured on the ball. Turning in to a very good proper old school centre half.

The whole defence is better since Sheehan came in and reminded them all that their day job is to stop the other team scoring.

Key and Tymon in particular, since Williams left and they no longer have to pretend they're inverted full backs in a Pep Guardiola team, they've been much better.
The Norwich away game will long stick in my mind; Key striding forward like the Charge of the Light Brigade. Loses ball, bang, goal conceded. These players don’t turn from good to bad on a game by game basis, it just needs some level headed coaching.

That game was ridiculous. If I recall correctly, for that goal I think you're talking about, both Key and Tymon were more or less in the centre circle together at the same time. Full backs.

That nonsense has been put a stop to now, thankfully.

That’s the one. I think we had just equalised as well, maybe two or three mins before. It all went downhill quickly after we went behind for the second time.

There was also the equally absurd winner that Leeds scored against us at home last season. Bianchini had just fired in a stoppage time equalizer and Key went on a mazy dribble into the middle of the pitch, immediately lost the ball and bang they score a winner in like the 95th minute.

Norwich was far from being an isolated case, sadly.
