Adam Idah: The Long Road to Swansea? - Celtic striker linked with SA1 move

I don't believe this is a gamble, but a good investment. The guy is an Irishman and there is quite a few in the Jack's family. The way the Swans know how to make a new player feel right at home. I don't think it will long before Adam Idah will be knocking them on for the Swans. The Jack Army will certainly make Adam feel welcome too if course, and with the right mindset will put him at ease to do what comes naturally, score goals 😁👌!

Just get him gone. He's a terrible player who has no future here. Bite the hand off anyone daft enough to offer money for him.

We sold Kyogo and Kühn without replacements in the door but this is the one we put our foot down on?

We've swung and missed on a number of strikers since Piroe left; we're due a hit at some point...right?

I am torn a little on this one though. Not as obvious to me as to some that this guy would be a significant upgrade on Vip, especially considering the outlay. I appreciate Vip doesn't really fit the Sheehan system so well, but let's face it, Sheehan could be gone by Christmas such is the fickle world of football management. At some point we have to expect our coaching staff to get the best out of the players the club purchases rather than just asking for someone else to come through the revolving door. Let's hope we're not doing this all again in 12 months time.

Says it all about the standard of Scottish football that he's scored 29 goals in 72 games for them and the fans can't wait to see him gone

If I was Idah and with all the recent critism I would be bitting at the chomp to now prove my worth and show Celtic fans what they missed out on. I know very little of him but the way they are describing him, is as if he is a lower league reserve player. Maybe in the past we made mistakes in the transfer market and we won't always get it right, but come on, we aren't paying the amount suggested without knowing the facts and type of player.

And in terms of actual minutes played in the league in the last two seasons, it's 21 goals in 25.7 full 90's. A goal every 110 minutes.

Hopefully it'll translate to the championship, 11 goals in 71 championship games for Norwich is nowhere near good enough
