I've lost a lot of love for football in recent years..whether that's getting older or the way things have been with the Swans or a combination of both, I don't know.

But what I do know is that nothing else could possibly give me that adrenaline rush I had last night. On a pissing down Wednesday in September. Absolutely epic.

You endure the crap and the ordinary most weeks but then every so often you get last night and it makes it all worthwhile.

And you certainly don't get it on your sofa watching a team based 200 miles away from your home town either.

I understand that,I lost an incredible amount of love for it when Amy became too ill to go about 4 years ago but I started taking my grandson who was 8 at at the time,I’ve now started taking the other one regularly now who’s 8 and it’s magical.

Spot on.
Those people who didn't go last night might have saved a few quid and not got their hair wet but they certainly missed that shear feeling of joy and adrenaline running through their body.

I was about to take my top off when that 3rd went in and it would have been off if my dodgy shoulder hadn't have kicked in.

I struggled to get to sleep last night due to the shear adrenaline running through my body.........I hope it was that anyway 🤣

I'm sorry to read that about Amy. We are pretty much exactly the same age from memory and she crosses my mind a lot.

I'm looking forward to being able to take my own kids and relive a lot of that magic through them. I'm expecting it'll be like rediscovering the magic of Christmas again.

Cheers pal and Santa will be waiting for you.

Does anyone else feel a bit of momentum building? We are on the cusp of something exciting - and saturday will be a realy tough examination of where we are.

It's called hope mate.

Something we haven't had for about 5 years in all truth.

We might not achieve promotion or win a cup this season, but the direction of travel is the right one. We haven't been able to say that for yonks.
