This has got to be some sort of wind up by someone with a spare £100. But if its not and he gets the gig it'll go down like a lead balloon.
Sounds terrible, he’s got a few months experience as a manager where he’s 12th out of 18 in the second division in Portugal, got sacked with Ljinders at Salzburg.

Honestly I’d rather Martin back than trying Matos.
Yeah, I don’t see this as a controversial statement. Matos is in his first job in management as far as I can tell. As much as I don’t think Martin suits our current squad, at least he would have experience behind him.

I’m not sure we should gamble on a completely fresh face. Hellberg may be young but has been managing for 5 years, that’s why I’m more in favour of his appointment.

Yeah exactly this Matos although developed some of Liverpools youngsters under Klopp, has had 5 months experience as a head coach, currently 12th place out of 18th in the second Portuguese league and got sacked as assistant at Salzburg, it doesn’t fill me with confidence at all.

Personally, if went head to head last summer for a role and came second I wouldn't be entertaining another conversation with that employer. There is clearly no trust and in this case playing second fiddle to coach who has never been a manager I would be telling our owners to jog on !

After the bombing of Dresden, Norwich became the city with the largest number of pre-reformation churches in Europe. I love to jog around Norwich but I can still make calls to the office via my digital telecom headset communicator. Norwich cathedral is breathtaking and its beautiful golden stone cloisters are the perfect place to go jogging every morning, whilst making those last minute budget decisions.

But is it better than Swansea?
Sadly (having gone to university there) I’d say yes.

The chat used to be that Norwich had a pub for every day of the year and a church for every week.

Looking at Hellberg from a Norwich perspective, although it suits their usual style of appointment, it is an even bigger risk for them than it is for us. They have absolutely no room for developing a more extreme or niche style of play at the moment. I think they’ll end up going with Tomasson for his prior experience and I think he had a pretty solid defensive record at Blackburn for the most part.

Tbh that's the way I see it too.

I've read a few people saying Matos' side are 12th in Portugal 2, but Maritimo are 3rd? What am I missing, or are they all just copying each other?!

edit : ahh it's just the same person!

You would think he’d understand why the choice was made tho.
I’m with you on that, I think he probably understood us appointing Sheehan seeing as he was doing well and was already at the club.

Also, jobs in the Championship are highly valued and I don’t think a manager wanting to progress his career would be too precious about a rejection.

Bristol City v Swansea City
