You would think he’d understand why the choice was made tho.
I'd be in agreement with Ringwood and i'd concur with you and I'd also be left wondering if a meeting with Gorringe took place at all, if it did then i'd side with you if not then I'd say Ringwood was on the money.

Hellberg is looking at his options so we are probably looking at other options too - hence why Moras’ odds have shortened. Obviously we are speaking to others and not just Hellberg it seems

I’m with you on that, I think he probably understood us appointing Sheehan seeing as he was doing well and was already at the club.

Also, jobs in the Championship are highly valued and I don’t think a manager wanting to progress his career would be too precious about a rejection.
He wouldn’t have come for talks with us if he wasn’t interested. Swans fans need to put their knickers back on and stop being so dramatic over everything.

I’m not arsed either way about him coming to be honest.

You'd think he'd learn from his time in the Premier league and Rangers that his methods don't work. He won't, of course.
His methods could work although I doubt it but you can't get them to work with unsuited players and to keep doing it for 2 years is insane. A manager's job is to mould his squad into the most effective unit by utilising the skillsets the players have, not by trying to get them to use skillsets they don't.

His team in Portugal is low scoring low conceding with the top scorer currently on 3. He'll fit right in down here btw their ground has a capacity of just 10,500 so he'll be used to hearing a pin drop at home too.

His ego means he'll never succeed as a decent manager.

Maybe we should hope that Norwich get a move on and appoint JDT and leave Hellberg to lick his wounds and give Gorringe a call back, i'm sure Tom would forgive him.

We actually threatened to take him to court, didn’t we? 🤣🤣

Anyway looking forward to Gashton, to watch some Russball live again.
We more than threatened, we served him the papers.
He and Southampton settled out of court

I wonder if O Dea will be coaching the team if Hellberg doesn't come in. Looks like we will be without a manager for a bit longer if he goes to Norwich or another club.

I think Hellberg will stay with his current club he will sign a new deal hope he will win the league and get a bigger move next year

Putting aside the coup part, I think it will be disappointing to see our club once again come second best in our negotiations to get our first choice in. I was positive 24 hours ago he was coming in, now I get feeling he won't resist higher money and maybe a team like Southampton who has been in Premier league recently will swade him.
Last I saw it was looking like Southampton were going to appoint their interim. Also doesn’t feel like a Boro type appointment to me and I haven’t seen them linked. Norwich are probably the most likely to rival us but according to that Norwich journalist, he doesn’t sound like a serious candidate for them.

We’re probably still in the best position to get a deal done, and if it’s between us and a new contract at Hammarby, then we stand a good chance.
