It came to my attention a few weeks back, it’s absolutely crazy.

I’m no fan of it, it’s just mad the way AI is accelerating, some of the AI intervention I have seen, has been bang on.

But where does it stop? The media are talking about bikinis at the moment, but I saw a post the other day on X, of someone putting a post up saying love you dad, to their departed father, and straight away hey grok put them in mankinis.

Free speech absolutists and those with Starmer Derangement Syndrome (it’s mostly the same people) have always been a bit dim. They’ve now backed themselves into a corner of having to defend peoples “right” to make sexualised images of children and for those images to be broadcast unsolicited and unmoderated on the world’s biggest social media platform just so they can accuse Starmer of planning to ban Twitter (which obviously isn’t going to happen) because they hate him so much and never got over the last election. So they take the side of weird freaks to dig at a PM they hate.

There’s no getting away from it, that’s weird. These people need watching.

It’s not putting people in bikinis though. The right wing media are pretending it is to hide what is actually happening. Which is grok is manufacturing vile pornographic images of women and children.

The police here are now following up on the people in this country who’ve asked grok to manufacture such images of kids ‘to try it out’.
It’s ’for a laugh innit’ they’ll cry as they get put on the sex offenders’ register and charged with having indecent images of children.

Anyone defending it in the name of free speech (I know no one is on here btw but many are on social media) are basically sick perverts.

The government has rightly told Musk to sort it out and if he doesn’t they should absolutely ban the whole lot. The EU will do the same, Australia the same and probably more. That’s almost 600m customers gone. I bet they’ll sort it out then.

All this AI is a bit mad, mind. My wife took a photo of me and the dog on a walk on Oxwich last weekend and posted it on her Facebook page (I'm not on Facebook). An hour later, a work colleague of mine sent me the same photo, but with me in a mankini .

It really looked like I was wearing a lime green mankini. I absolutely wet myself; you literally could have taken it as a genuine photo. Scary times.

Personally I have not seen any children on my timeline, but it’s just full of put her in a bikini, or such as a picture and saying hey grok who is the most likely to be detrimental of the safety of the uk. It’s very dodgy ground, I think Elons response so far, from what I have seen is why are they picking on X, when other AI engines do exactly the same thing.

Just to reiterate, I am not a fan of this at all. IMO it’s pretty wrong, that an innocent photo of oneself, can be mutated by AI, and changed with at the moment, no repercussions.

It would be removed instantly.

The main issue with twitter is obviously this dreadful stuff with grok but also more broadly how agendas get constantly pushed. Anything critical of Trump or the Maga lot or tech bros gets removed or its reach is throttled. Anything pro gets pushed and promoted. It is completely removing the independence of the press as well as ‘anti’ publications or articles get hounded by an endless barrage of bots to drown out any dissent. It is genuinely quite worrying as a dictatorship is getting built via social media platforms.

Idiot Americans lap it up of course and a concerning number of idiot Brits as well.
