Incredible scenes. Not seem anything like that in football before. And imagine trying a panenka in those circumstances. What a dick.

Morocco in this tournament have - amongst other things - encouraged ballboy naughtiness, messed around with opposition training arrangements, undercut Senegal's ticket allocation for the final, and much more besides. Nice to see their cheating not being rewarded. Well done Senegal.

A lot more coming out this morning with dirty tactics from the host nation. Despite my initial thoughts regards the Senegalese team walking off the pitch, looks like football was the real winner given what was going on.

Well done Senagal? You’ve got to be joking!
They should be band from the next tournament.
Their manager and staff coming on the pitch to have a go at the referee (as bad as he was)
Calling his players off the pitch, with only Mane’ respectful enough to go and convince them to come back on.
But Mane’ then totally blots his copybook, by continually harassing said ref, trying his best to delay and put off the penalty taker.
Plus their keeper, not once but twice walking up, and standing directly in front of him.
I think the ref felt so intimidated he forgot to at least yellow card both players for interfering with the pen being taken.
It has to be one of the most shambolic and shameful endings to a major tournament ever.

I take it you've not seen all the shenanigans Morocco have been up to throughout the tournament.

Much bigger picture than all that.
Morocco were a disgrace with the dark arts throughout the tournament including the final and got what they deserved in the end.
Senegal stood up to it. I initially thought the same as you until I read and saw what was going on away from the match last night.

To be honest, I don’t give a flying fek about what they get up to in the AFCOM Cup, because corruption rules, just as it does in FIFA.

I have only watched the last few minutes of yesterday’s debacle, and not one minute of it previously.

This is why, as someone rightly pointed out, I obviously haven’t seen the other load of bollocks inflicted on genuine football fans, by Morocco.

So I’ll slightly change my thoughts on Senegal.
Morocco and Senegal should both be banned, for bringing the beautiful game into disrepute.

Nobody has brought it into more disrepute than the current and former head of the organisation. Let’s start with them and work downwards.
