• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

The most unpopular PM in British history.

Surely he isn't going to last much longer, let alone his whole term?

Being the most unpopular PM in history takes some doing when you consider who he's up against.

After the abomination that was Cameron, Johnson, May, Truss & Sunak I think you are way off the mark.

Only my opinion obviously.

I can’t see how he survives this now, not sure he’ll even make it to May. I imagine we’re only just scratching the surface of this Mandy scandal as well.

Just going by the polls.
Fair enough MrS, but which polls are these though? Tory/Reform MSM biased polls perhaps.

I do think he needs to resign though, but only for the Mandelson debacle not because of his running of the country.

He has achieved an awful lot since being elected, a lot of which is never reported by your usual suspects, Daily Fail et al.

All about opinions though.

He's only the most unpopular PM in history becasue he's the first to have the right wing media and the right wing social media pillorying everything he does.

He hasn't been all bad but he's hugely restricted by the left of his party and petrified of making any real change. I think he's toast if Labour lose the upcoming by-election, even by a narrow margin.

So much opinion these days is formed from the social media bubble. I’ve watched people I’ve known for years (and while we haven’t always agreed they were always at least vaguely sensible) devolve into frothing idiots because they swallow every last thing the bots on Twitter and WhatsApp feed them. I’ve heard of TDS but SDS is even stronger in some.

Starmer is useless at blowing his own trumpet. There has been significant improvements since Labour came to power in a number of areas and he knows that the media won’t do it for him but he can’t seem to get a grip of the narrative. Whatever he is he isn’t terribly good at politics.

There is a high profile by-election to come long before then, the result of which is no longer a foregone conclusion. Starmer will desperately be hoping for a quiet three weeks before then, but I’m not sure he will get his wish.

This also says a lot about those advising him.

Why are the public more pissed off at Starmer than Mandelson?

lets see how it plays out
