To be fair, Sham's been consistent and predicted defeat every week. 🤣

Me and my son in law have been following the Seahawks for about 14 years. We managed to get to the Wembley game when they beat the Raiders. Any team that takes the Rams twice in a season has a good chance of winning the SB. Will hopefully be able to book some leave for Monday 9.

Please can we avoid two weeks of you two telling each other that their team is going to beat yours? šŸ˜‚
I honestly thought after beating the Rams for the Championship game the Seahawks were home and dry, 3 days out and that confidence has gone.

I can see a pretty low scoring game on the Sunday, perhaps with a bit of Seahawks special team magic edging it.

I've taken Monday morning off, but haven't stayed as late as I plan to for many years. Was planning on a couple of beers, but it'll probably need to be espresso.

That’s the spirit šŸ’ŖšŸ¼ back your team. An ugly win is a win.

I threaten a late night and Monday off every year, but it never happens. Once again it will be a Monday morning catch up for me.

Sham, what's your pessimism level for this one? Not worth turning up? Might get lucky if the Seahawks get food poisoning? Or are you allowing yourself some positivity on this one?

Well I will repost what I posted on the Pats forum. I havent seen one expert go fot the pats yet. All the ESPN writers(11) went for Seahawks, 9 CBS writers, every Sky Sport pundit. I have never seen it like this.

We are going to need a bigger bulletin board. (They call smack talk, bulletin board material )

Whilst I dont hink we are favorites, or even likely to win, we are being downright disrespected right now. Especially seeing as neither Bellicik nor Kraft made the HOF. The Hate is real. Given the way we have approached games all season, we have found a way week after week, I wouldnt rule out the mother of all surprises. Not really expecting much though.

Yeah, I certainly wouldn't rule it out

Let's be honest, to borrow a phrase from the other football, it could be argued that 'your name is on the cup' this year after some of the circumstances you've found yourself in. The jibes about the 'easy' schedule are no doubt overdone and probably tiresome by now, (but not without some basis in truth to them). Add to that some less than exemplary oppo QB play in the post-season from CJ Stroud and Jarrett Stidham (and the very fact he was the QB you faced and not Bo Nix). It seems like the gods want you to win this, and who am I to argue with them?

Last nights awards dont really support my perceived narrative that every thing is anti NEP. Vrable coach of the eyar and Viniteri inducted to HOF. Maye didnt get MVP, nor did he deserve to. He has done great for year 2 player, but he has much room to grow. The whole of Seattle appears to be so rabid for revenge after the Butler Bowl that you wouldnt really begrudge them that. The timing of the Superbowl is always spectacularly bad for me.Midnight kick off or thereabouts. Sometimes I get up early for work to watch the last quarter of SNFs but by and large I never watch S/B unless I take the next day off work. Unfortunately I cant do that on Monday, so I wont be watching live. No doubt the ticker tape will be falling as I get ready for work. DAZN has a good range of game replay options although I read ESPN is taking over NFL network and Red Zone so I wonder how that will effect my subscription.

I assume the relative irrelevance of the SB in the UK means that as long as you avoid a couple of websites during the day Monday you can avoid knowing the outcome until you have a chance to watch a replay?

I will find out the score, and only watch if we win...:D No point wasting time on a loss. I always find post superbowl a very empty time, win or lose. The onset of Football season is also the onset of my favorite time of year. As they clear away the confetti so I stare at the reality that its heading into my least favorite time of year :(

BBC Sport usually give it good coverage. It’s harder to avoid than you imagine.

Nah. It’s usually main sports story in all the mainstream press on the Monday. Probably in non sport news as well if there’s any controversy at the half time show. Which is pretty much nailed on.
